Miguel J. Delgado, Esq., founding member of Delgado Law LLC, has been practicing for over a decade before the Superior Court of New Jersey and municipal courts throughout the state.  A long-time resident of Hudson County, Miguel Delgado began his career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable John A. Jorgensen of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, where he drafted judicial opinions, legal memorandum, and judicial orders regarding a wide array of legal matters, including divorce, contract, and estate issues.  During his time as a judicial clerk, Mr. Delgado was also certified as a court-appointed mediator and was responsible for resolving various types of litigation, including contract and real estate matters, prior to trial.

Subsequent to his judicial clerkship, Miguel Delgado served as a public defender in Essex County for over eight years.  Becoming a seasoned trial attorney, he developed a long track record in New Jersey Superior Court as a zealous advocate for his clients' rights.  As his career progressed, Mr. Delgado expanded his knowledge of collections and business practices in his role as a Senior Claims Specialist for Chubb Ltd., where he was charged with facilitating the resolution of disputes involving contracts, real estate transactions, and business litigation.

Following his time at Chubb, and prior to founding Delgado Law LLC, Miguel Delgado was selected for a prestigious fellowship with Rutgers Law School where he assisted low-income clients throughout the state with numerous civil issues, including divorce and post-divorce family law matters, as well as estate questions.  Mr. Delgado has also  consistently served as a volunteer attorney for Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, a pro bono program that offers counsel and assistance to low-income clients in multiple areas , including civil litigation, trust and estates issues, and government benefits matters.
